FHRD has just signed an agreement with the UK’s number one Arts University, Falmouth University. Originally founded as Falmouth School of Art in 1902, today Falmouth University is one of the world’s leading international specialist creative institutions. It is one of the few universities offering the full range of creative subjects.
Falmouth University has been judged by The Sunday Times to be the UK’s No. 1 Arts University for three years running (2015-2017), top 5 University for Marketing related subjects by the Guardian University Guide 2017, and leading University for creative scene by Which? University Student Survey 2016. Some 97% of Falmouth students are in employment or further study six months after graduating.
Falmouth will bring a different set of high quality programmes which will complement FHRD’s current programmes offered through the University of Leicester. FHRD has been assisting Maltese professional students in furthering their careers by studying via academic distance learning programmes for almost 20 years. In addition, FHRD has been offering short continuous professional development programmes developed and run locally by FHRD. The services offered to Falmouth applicants and students by FHRD include pre-enrolment counselling, assistance with the application and admission process, and any other administrative support throughout their whole two years of study.
Falmouth programmes’ are fully distance learning, which allows students to fit their studies around their work and family life. The programmes offered are all accredited locally by NCFHE at Masters MQF Level 7 and are all eligible for funding under Get Qualified, a tax rebate scheme administered by Malta Enterprise of which up to 70% of the costs of studying with Falmouth can be claimed back.
Falmouth University is offering four different programmes to Maltese based residents. These are Masters in Creative Apps Development, Masters in Advertising and Marketing, Masters in Creative Events and Masters in Photography.
