On Friday the 30th of November, FHRD will be hosting the last HR Fora event for 2018.
The revamped EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which became effective as of the 25th May 2018, introduced stringent data protection and privacy obligations on all persons and organisations that collect, store or process personal data, including HR Professionals.
The GDPR is applicable to all companies and organisations that process personal data, irrespective of industry and size. During this session, Roselyn Borg and Angelito Sciberras will give you an overview of the GDPR and its implications on the HR departments. You will also receive guidance to comply with all the GDPR requirements, from the initial audit to the required implementing remedial actions, including the necessary policies each HR department should have in place.
As you might be aware, Roselyn Borg Knight, Paul Gonzi and Angelito Sciberras have come together to publish a book on GDPR for HR Professionals. The aim of the book is to help HR professionals comply with the burdensome law. FHRD has decided to sponsor copies of the book and hand out a complimentary copy to each attendee. For details on the book visit click

15:00hrs, at the
FHRD's Training Centre. Parking at Tigne' Point will be available complimentary. As always, HR FORA events are exclusive events for individual and corporate members and are at no cost. For those interested in attending kindly email
