The traditional model of everyone reporting to an office at the same time each day assumed that life and work could exist separately – that we could clock out of one area and clock into the other, and then reverse. That’s simply no longer the case. One of the biggest reasons for this is that the line between work and life is becoming unprecedentedly blurry with the massive rise in mobile and work-related technologies.
During this session, Caroline Buhagiar Klass, Head of HR HSBC Malta will be discussing flexible work options. She is a firm believer that offering flexible working at the workplace is the way to go. This will create a healthy working environment where each employee knows that their organization understand that they have a family and personal demands which at times may conflict with work. It is not the number of hours or the presence at the office that matters but the results produced and achieving high performance. In this session, different opportunities will be shared and how organizations can implement good flexible working policies to support the well-being of their employees and the business.
Caroline has worked both in the Hi-Tech and Finance Sectors in the US, Asia and Europe. She is a strong believer in a holistic business eco system which impacts stakeholder value. Bringing HR from the "Outside-In". She has led diverse teams across different HR Functions and driven major acquisitions and integration of employees during take overs. Caroline has a Diploma in Adult Education and Development from the University of Malta and a Masters of Science in Business Psychology from Leicester University UK. For her full profile click here
