The report delves into alternative approaches to reward as a means of increasing employees' motivation to succeed. It suggests that organisations who place alternative reward structures can have better control over the factors determining employee motivation in enhancing their business success. In addition alternative reward strategies also have the added benefit of being cost-effective. 

The report concludes that the best reward strategies take into account both individual and group success and that businesses are most likely to see improved engagement and enhanced performance.
