Data Proves Link Between HR Performance & the Financial Performance of a Company

A new study by the BCG) and the WFPMA has revealed how stronger Human Resources (HR) departments can improve business performance. 
The report titled How to Set up Great HR Functions, Connect, Prioritize, Impact is the eighth in the annual "Creating People Advantages" series. The series explores emerging trends in HR.  
 
This year's research elicited survey responses from more than 3,500 executives from different industries in more than 100 countries. Researchers also carried out in-depth interviews with 64 HR and non-HR leaders.
 
The report emphasises the importance of establishing a clear link between HR and business leaders and calls for a data-driven approach to managment. Findings indicate a strong correlation between the use of HR key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics and calls for a more strategic role for HR.
