Two Maltese students received the Ashton Prize for joint Best students on distance learning MSc studies at the Center for Labour Market Studies within the School of Management, University of Leicester.
Following the recent Board of Examiners’ Meeting at the Center for Labour Market Studies (CLMS) within the School of Management at University of Leicester, UK, two Maltese students, who have followed the University of Leicester distance learning MSc in HR Management and Development, through the University’s local agent – Foundation for Human Resources Development (FHRD), have been selected to receive The Ashton Prize for joint Best students on distance learning MSc degree. Both students have achieved MSc in HR Management and Development with Distinction. The Ashton prize is named after Prof David Ashton, Founder of CLMS. This award is a great honor for both of the graduates – Clare Cini and Maria Gauci.
The Ashton Prize is given to the best students on the course and it is an acknowledgement of excellence by the Board of Examiners, ratified by both the Board of the Faculty of Social Sciences and the University of Leicester Senate.
